This is a smaller sized Chinese buffet versus others in the city which is nice because it feels welcoming. They have an adequate selection however it would have been nice to have more vegetarian sushi options. The beer and soft drinks are included in the price, wine is extra. The waitstaff tried very hard and were very friendly. They were always quick to take the empty plates away. They have tables for all sizes of groups. Many people, including us, were there to celebrate a birthday. They have the robot that delivers food sing happy birthday with a large sparkler. They also have a kids play area in the back which is great for kids who get bored during dinner.

Great chinees restaurant at amazing low cost. Food and drinks included at 25 euro per person ! Quiet place and nice for kids, some of the prepared food is brought by a robot .

During our stay in Dortmund we had an pleasure to go and have a dinner in Gong Bao and it's in my and my family opinion - SUPERB place!!!! Everything fresh, staff friendly and very polite... recommended to everyone who loves Chinese food!!! Thank you GANG BAO :-)

Its a all you can eat buffet. The sushi was ok, salmon was really good and the fake crab was also good, the vegan options weren't as good, but that is because i don't like vegetables. The chinese food was really good and the fried food also. The sweet section with ice cream and the chocolate fountain was really really good and the best part of the buffet. Its a really good place to take people out for dinner, birtday or work parties. The staff is nice, they do bring custom orders to the table if you want something differently made.

It’s located just a few steps away from the U-Bahn (the underground street train network) station so reachability is top notch. I had a three course buffet dinner and I was super impressed with the quality and taste of the food. There’s also the possibility of booking a table (for yourself or a group) in advance. The cost is fairly reasonable as I spent under 30 euros. I would gladly recommend to try it out if you’re in Dortmund (it’s also luckily just two train stops away from the Dortmund Signal Iduna Park Stadium).
